1 Who operates Prep
Prep is provided by Nerrbase, a sole proprietorship established in the Netherlands, at Spoordijkstraat 1, 7205 BK Zutphen, The Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 82244901. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Nerrbase. You can contact us at [email protected].
2 These terms and your account
These terms govern your use of Prep on iOS, Android and the web. We will make them available before you create an account. By creating an account, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we process personal data; agreeing to these terms does not give consent for unrelated data processing.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Prep. Provide accurate account details, protect your password and use only accounts you own or are authorised to access. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You remain responsible for your own actions in Prep; you are not automatically responsible for another person’s misuse outside your reasonable control.
3 What Prep does
Prep helps you record and organise income, expenses, savings, goals and flexible budgets. It can display upcoming items, historical information, charts, simulations and coaching tips. You enter and maintain the information. Prep does not access your bank account, hold funds, execute payments or provide a bank account.
Budget totals, forecasts, currency conversions and coaching tips are estimates based on the information and assumptions used. They may contain errors or become outdated. Prep does not provide personalised investment, tax, legal or regulated financial advice. Check information before making financial decisions and obtain qualified advice when needed. These explanations do not remove our responsibility to provide a service that meets applicable legal standards.
4 Shared spaces and your content
You keep your rights in the information you enter. You give us permission to store, process, display and transmit it only as needed to provide, secure and support Prep and meet legal obligations, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
People admitted to a space can access the budget information in that space according to their role. Owners and admins can make changes within their permissions; viewers have read-only access. Invite people carefully and share personal data only when you have a lawful basis to do so. Removing access cannot recall copies someone has already made.
5 Acceptable use
Do not use Prep unlawfully, impersonate another person, access someone else’s data without authorisation, upload malicious content, interfere with the service or bypass security or usage limits. Do not upload bank passwords, full payment-card details or information that you are not entitled to share. Respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property.
6 Access levels and charges
Some features require a particular access level or are available as a preview. Preview access does not automatically become a paid subscription. Before any charge or recurring billing, we will show the price, features, billing period, trial and renewal terms, cancellation conditions and withdrawal rights, and obtain your agreement. Future purchase conditions supplement these terms. Mandatory cancellation, refund and other consumer rights remain unaffected.
7 Availability and changes to Prep
We will use reasonable care and skill to operate and protect Prep and provide legally required updates. Maintenance, faults or events beyond our reasonable control may interrupt access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or forecast accuracy.
We may change Prep for valid reasons, including security, legal compliance, repairs and improvements. We will explain material changes and, where required, give advance notice in a durable form and a right to end the agreement without charge. Existing consumer rights remain unaffected. If we discontinue Prep, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and an opportunity to retrieve your information.
8 Ending use and restricting access
You can stop using Prep at any time and request account closure and deletion by contacting [email protected]. Deletion and any necessary retention are explained in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your account.
We may proportionately restrict access to protect people or Prep, comply with law, or address serious or repeated breaches. We will explain why and allow reasonable opportunities to resolve the issue, unless unsafe or unlawful. Contact support to challenge a restriction.
9 Responsibility and your legal rights
We remain responsible for meeting our obligations under applicable law. Nothing limits liability where unlawful, including for intentional misconduct, deliberate recklessness, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Your mandatory rights concerning digital services, remedies, privacy and consumer protection remain unaffected.
Keep copies of information important to you and take reasonable steps to avoid foreseeable loss. This does not transfer our legal responsibilities to you.
10 Software and store terms
We and our licensors retain rights in Prep’s software, branding and design. You receive a personal, non-exclusive right to use it as intended under these terms. Statutory and open-source licence rights remain unaffected. Applicable app store terms and any separate software licence also apply.
11 Updates to these terms and disputes
We may update these terms for valid legal, security or service reasons. We will explain material changes in advance and obtain agreement when required. Changes are not retroactive. You may end your use without losing accrued rights.
Dutch law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections under the law of your habitual residence where applicable. You may use any court available under mandatory law. Contact [email protected] to seek a complaint resolution. Unenforceable terms do not affect the remaining terms where legally possible.
